This week the children have been continuing their work on the Dream Giver. We focused on descriptions ready to plan and write our own narratives next week. In Maths we have begun consolidation work. We finished adding and subtracting money and moved onto measurement. We took our lesson to the outdoor classroom and recapped cm and mm measuring sticks, benches etc.
In Topic we have been focused on our local area. We looked at the different physical and human characteristics in our area how we live so close to the city centre. We then looked at the Quaside over time and discussed the reasons for the changes, for example tourism, businesses etc.
This week started with so much rain, luckily our sports day was rescheduled for Friday. The children had an amazing day!
